Who This Is For
Full-time or part-time students with a valid academic email, anyone eligible for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, or learners in financial hardship who need help affording Pro.
Option 1: Academic Email Discount
If you have a valid .edu or other academic email address, you can request a student discount directly from Scrimba.
How to apply:
- Email [email protected] from your academic email address
- Request the student discount
- The Scrimba team will process your request and apply the discount to your account
Option 2: GitHub Student Developer Pack
The GitHub Student Developer Pack (opens in a new tab) includes 1 free month of Scrimba Pro for eligible students.
How to redeem:
- Apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack
- Once approved, visit the Scrimba GitHub Education page (opens in a new tab) and log in with GitHub
- In the checkout modal, look for the "GitHub Student 30-Day Trial" message and the yellow UPGRADE button to activate your free month

Choose the GitHub Student Pack if: You're verified by GitHub and want 1 free month to try Pro before committing.
