Option 1: Academic Email Discount​

If you have a valid .edu or other academic email address, you can request a student discount directly from Scrimba.

How to apply:

  1. Email [email protected] from your academic email address
  2. Request the student discount
  3. The Scrimba team will process your request and apply the discount to your account

Option 2: GitHub Student Developer Pack​

The GitHub Student Developer Pack (opens in a new tab) includes 1 free month of Scrimba Pro for eligible students.

How to redeem:

  1. Apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack
  2. Once approved, visit the Scrimba GitHub Education page (opens in a new tab) and log in with GitHub
  3. In the checkout modal, look for the "GitHub Student 30-Day Trial" message and the yellow UPGRADE button to activate your free month

Option 3: Scholarships​

Scrimba does not currently offer a formal scholarship program, but they encourage reaching out to [email protected] if you're in a financial hardship situation.

Choose the academic email discount if: You have a valid .edu or academic email and want an ongoing reduced rate.

Choose the GitHub Student Pack if: You're verified by GitHub and want 1 free month to try Pro before committing.
