How Scrimba billing works in one minute
There is only one paid product: Pro. There is no per-course purchase and no lifetime buyout, so every billing question reduces to how you pay for Pro and how you stop.
- Two billing cycles. Monthly or annual. Annual works out to roughly half the per-month rate, so if you will study for three months or more, annual is the cheaper unit. Weigh it on the Pro vs Free comparison.
- Region-aware pricing. Scrimba applies purchasing-power parity automatically, so the price you see can be lower than the headline rate depending on your country. No coupon needed.
- One renewal switch. A subscription renews until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge but keeps your access to the end of the period; it does not refund the current term. The two actions are different, and the refund policy lays out which one returns money.
- Your progress is yours. Cancel, lapse, and resubscribe months later, and your completed lessons are still on your account.
If you only remember one thing: try the free tier first, pick annual once you are confident, and you keep the 7-day refund window on that first charge either way.
